Now if we could only make this a tradition...then we'd really be in business :-)

Spring has sprung
Here at the Adam house we've adopted a fun tradition that, at least in our minds, indicates the beginning of the spring season. It's an activity that I have affectionately dubbed "Kids in a 'Barrow." You see, we have a ginormous tree-covered yard that come mid-March requires at least an entire day (maybe two) of post-winter cleanup....i.e. raking and bagging 40 trash bags worth of leaves. During our marathon yard day last spring the kids started getting antsy and tired of mommy and daddy working. We knew we needed to come up with something fast...these kids don't mess around when it comes to planning a mutiny. What could we do to make them think yard days are fun? We looked around....and saw a wheelbarrow. We looked back at the kids...then back at the wheelbarrow. It made perfect sense in our heads at the time. Now I think we're just weird. Regardless, the kids fell in love and so began our "Kids in a 'Barrow" tradition. Observe....
Now if we could only make this a tradition...then we'd really be in business :-)
